EPF dividend 2022

 


 

Today (4 March 2023), the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) has declared a dividend rate of 5.35% for its 

2022 conventional savings and 4.75% for its syariah savings. The total payout dividend for conventional

 saving is RM 45.4 billion and for syariah saving is RM 5.7 billion. This year dividend rate is decrease 

compared with year 2021 when the dividend rate for conventional saving is 6.1% and for syariah saving is

5.65%. This dividend rate decrease due to some factor like EPF allow special withdrawal (i-Lestari and i-

Sinar), unstable international market condition, higher interest rate.


Based on EPF website the previous 5 years dividend rate is below:


2021: 6.10% (conventional)     5.65% (syariah)

2020: 5.20% (conventional)     4.90% (syariah)

2019: 5.45% (conventional)     5.00% (syariah)

2018: 6.15% (conventional)     5.90% (syariah)

2017: 6.90% (conventional)     6.40% (syariah)
